حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ (٢) قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِحُذَيْفَةَ: أَيُّ سَاعَةٍ تَسَحَّرْتُمْ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: " هُوَ النَّهَارُ إِلَّا أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ لَمْ تَطْلُعْ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Zirr bin Hubaish says that once I asked Hudhaifa bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him), "At what time did you eat sahur with the Prophet (ﷺ)?" He replied, "It was already morning, but the sun had not yet risen."
