حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، وَحَجَّاجٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَقُولُوا مَا شَاءَ اللهُ وَشَاءَ فُلَانٌ، وَلَكِنْ قُولُوا مَا شَاءَ اللهُ ثُمَّ شَاءَ فُلَانٌ "، (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Hudhaifah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not say, "What Allah willed and what so-and-so willed," but rather say, "What Allah willed, and after that, what so-and-so willed."
