حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ امْرَأَتِهِ، عَنْ أُخْتِ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَتْ: خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: " يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ، أَمَا لَكُنَّ فِي الْفِضَّةِ مَا تَحَلَّيْنَ؟ أَمَا إِنَّهُ مَا مِنْكُنَّ مِنَ امْرَأَةٍ تَلْبَسُ ذَهَبًا تُظْهِرُهُ إِلَّا عُذِّبَتْ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from the sister of Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) addressed us in a sermon and said: O group of women! Would silver jewelry not be sufficient for you? Remember! Any woman among you who wears gold for display will be subjected to punishment on the Day of Resurrection.
