حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ، ، مُسْلِمِ بْنِ نُذَيْرٍ (١) ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: أَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِعَضَلَةِ سَاقِي ـ أَوْ بِعَضَلَةِ سَاقِهِ ـ فَقَالَ: " حَقُّ الْإِزَارِ هَا هُنَا، فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَهَا هُنَا، فَإِنْ أَبَيْتَ فَلَا حَقَّ لِلْإِزَارِ فِي الْكَعْبَيْنِ، أَوْ لَا حَقَّ لِلْكَعْبَيْنِ فِي الْإِزَارِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifah bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once held the calf of his leg and said: The place for tying the lower garment is up to here. If you do not accept this, then let it hang a little below this. If you do not accept even this, then below the ankles the lower garment has no right.
