حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا تَقُولُوا مَا شَاءَ اللهُ وَشَاءَ فُلَانٌ، وَلَكِنْ قُولُوا: مَا شَاءَ اللهُ ثُمَّ شَاءَ فُلَانٌ " (٤)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not say, "What Allah willed and what so-and-so willed," but rather say, "What Allah willed, and after that, what so-and-so willed."
