حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " مَا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْ حَوْضِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ وَمِصْرَ (٢) ، آنِيَتُهُ أَكْثَرُ أَوْ مِثْلُ عَدَدِ نُجُومِ السَّمَاءِ، مَاؤُهُ أَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ، وَأَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ اللَّبَنِ، وَأَبْرَدُ مِنَ الثَّلْجِ، وَأَطْيَبُ رِيحًا مِنَ الْمِسْكِ، مَنْ شَرِبَ مِنْهُ لَمْ يَظْمَأْ بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The distance of my cistern is as much as that between Aylah and Mudhar. Its vessels will be more numerous than the stars in the sky. Its water will be sweeter than honey, whiter than milk, colder than ice, and more fragrant than musk. Whoever drinks its water once will never feel thirsty again.
