Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: " لَمْ يُصَلِّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ، وَلَوْ صَلَّى فِيهِ لَكُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَلَاةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) did not pray in Bayt al-Maqdis. If the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) had prayed there, then that prayer would have become obligatory upon you as well.
