حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضُمُّ إِلَيْهِ حَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا يَقُولُ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُمَا فَأَحِبَّهُمَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that he once saw the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) embracing Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) with his body, and at that time the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was saying: "O Allah! I love both of them, so You also love both of them."
