حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي كَبْشَةَ يَخْطُبُ بِالشَّامِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَدِّثُ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْخَمْرِ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْخَمْرِ: "، ، إِنْ شَرِبَهَا فَاجْلِدُوهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ عَادَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sharjeel bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever drinks alcohol, flog him; if he drinks a second time, flog him; if he drinks a third time, flog him; and if he drinks a fourth time, then kill him.
