حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا حُذَيْفَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " نَظَرْتُ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ صَبِيحَةَ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ كَأَنَّهُ فِلْقُ جَفْنَةٍ "، وَقَالَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ (١) : إِنَّمَا يَكُونُ الْقَمَرُ كَذَاكَ صَبِيحَةَ لَيْلَةِ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: On the morning of Laylat al-Qadr, I looked at the moon and it was like half a bowl. Abu Ishaq says that the moon appears in this shape on the 23rd night.
