حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ حَجَّاجَ بْنَ حَجَّاجٍ الْأَسْلَمِيَّ ـ وَكَانَ إِمَامَهُمْ ـ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ـ وَكَانَ يَحُجُّ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ـ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ـ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ: أُرَاهُ عَبْدَ اللهِ ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " إِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The intensity of heat is due to the effect of the heat of Hell, therefore when the heat is severe, perform the prayer after it has cooled down.
