حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ غَالِبًا الْقَطَّانَ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ أَبِي يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ السَّلَامَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أَبِيكَ السَّلَامُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from a companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and said, "My father sends you greetings of peace." The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) replied, "Peace be upon you and upon your father."
