حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ، عَنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " يَدْخُلُ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ بِأَرْبَعِ مِائَةِ عَامٍ " ـ قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّ الْحَسَنَ يَذْكُرُ أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا، فَقَالَ عَنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَرْبَعُ مِائَةِ عَامٍ ـ قَالَ: " حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْمُؤْمِنُ (٢) الْغَنِيُّ: يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ عَيْلًا "، قَالَ: قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، سَمِّهِمْ لَنَا بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ؟ قَالَ: " هُمُ الَّذِينَ إِذَا كَانَ مَكْرُوهٌ بُعِثُوا لَهُ، وَإِذَا كَانَ مَغْنَمٌ بُعِثَ إِلَيْهِ سِوَاهُمْ، وَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُحْجَبُونَ عَنِ الْأَبْوَابِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from multiple Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The poor believers will enter Paradise four hundred years before the wealthy. So much so that the wealthy Muslims will say, "If only I had remained destitute in the world!" We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Please tell us their names." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: These are the people who, when distressing circumstances arise, are sent forth; if spoils of war come, others are sent and they are left behind; and these are the people who are kept away from their own doors.
