Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ بِالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا وَأَشْبَاهِهَا مِنَ السُّوَرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite Surah Ash-Shams and similar surahs in the Isha prayer.
