حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْبَزَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عِيسَى قَالَ: وَكَانَ أَمِيرًا عَلَى الرَّقَّةِ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا مِنْ أَمِيرِ عَشَرَةٍ إِلَّا جِيءَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَغْلُولَةٌ يَدُهُ إِلَى عُنُقِهِ حَتَّى يُطْلِقَهُ الْحَقُّ أَوْ يُوبِقَهُ، وَمَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ، ثُمَّ نَسِيَهُ لَقِيَ اللهَ وَهُوَ أَجْذَمُ " (١)، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Sa'd bin 'Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever has been the leader of ten people will come on the Day of Resurrection with his hands bound, and nothing will release them except his justice. And whoever learned the Noble Qur'an and then forgot it, he will meet Allah as a leper.
