حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ يَقُولُ: " بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ النُّقَبَاءَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ، فَسَمَّى عُبَادَةَ فِيهِمْ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
Yahya bin Abi Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I have come to know that the number of Naqibs is twelve, and among them, the name of Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) was also mentioned.
