حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ،، ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّهُ: سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ: {لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا، وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ} [يونس: ٦٤] قَالَ: " هِيَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الْعَبْدُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about the interpretation of Allah Almighty’s statement: "For them are glad tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter", so the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: It means good dreams which a Muslim sees himself or another Muslim sees about him.
