حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَمِعَ، عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ يَقُولُ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ قُومُوا نَسْتَغِيثُ بِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ هَذَا، ، الْمُنَافِقِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يُقَامُ لِي، إِنَّمَا يُقَامُ لِلَّهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) once came to us, so Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Stand up, let us complain to the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) about this hypocrite." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Refrain from standing before me; standing is for Allah."
