حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْجَنَّةُ مِائَةُ دَرَجَةٍ مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ مَسِيرَةُ مِائَةِ عَامٍ، وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ: كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ، وَالْفِرْدَوْسُ أَعْلَاهَا دَرَجَةً، وَمِنْهَا تَخْرُجُ الْأَنْهَارُ الْأَرْبَعَةُ، وَالْعَرْشُ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا، وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُ اللهَ فَاسْأَلُوهُ الْفِرْدَوْسَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Paradise has one hundred levels; between each two levels is a distance of one hundred years. The highest rank is the level of Jannat al-Firdous. From it flow the four rivers, and above it is the Throne of Allah. Therefore, when you ask Allah, ask for Jannat al-Firdous.
