حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، (١) حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ خُنَيْسٍ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا أُذِنَ لِعَبْدٍ فِي شَيْءٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ يُصَلِّيهِمَا، وَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ لَيُذَرُّ فَوْقَ رَأْسِ الْعَبْدِ مَا دَامَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ، وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ الْعِبَادُ إِلَى اللهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا خَرَجَ مِنْهُ " يَعْنِي الْقُرْآنَ (٢)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: No human being has been granted permission regarding anything better than what has been granted regarding the two rak‘ahs which he performs, and as long as a person remains engaged in prayer, goodness continues to be showered upon his head, and a person does not attain closeness to Allah by anything like the closeness attained through the speech that comes from Him, that is, the Qur’an.
