حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ (١) ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاتِكَةِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَمَّنْ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " رَاحَ إِلَى مِنًى يَوْمَ التَّرْوِيَةِ وَإِلَى جَانِبِهِ بِلَالٌ بِيَدِهِ عُودٌ عَلَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ، يُظِلُّ بِهِ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a companion (may Allah be pleased with him) reports from him that he saw the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) on the eighth of Dhul-Hijjah going towards Mina. On one side of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), in his hand was a stick on which there was a cloth, and he was shading the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) with it.
