حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُبَارَكٍ، وَعَتَّابٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى مَحَاسِنِ امْرَأَةٍ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ، ثُمَّ يَغُضُّ بَصَرَهُ إِلَّا أَحْدَثَ اللهُ لَهُ عِبَادَةً يَجِدُ حَلَاوَتَهَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a Muslim's first glance falls upon a woman's beauty and he lowers his gaze, Allah Almighty will create such sweetness in his worship that he himself will feel its delight.
