حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ أَبُو غَسَّانَ اللَّيْثِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَصِينِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْحُمَّى كِيرٌ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ، فَمَا أَصَابَ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْهَا كَانَ حَظَّهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Fever is the effect of the furnace of Hell. If a Muslim gets fever, then that is his portion from Hell (which is given to him in this world and in the Hereafter he is saved from Hell).
