حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَرَجُ، حَدَّثَنَا لُقْمَانُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَجِيفُوا أَبْوَابَكُمْ، وَأَكْفِئُوا آنِيَتَكُمْ، وَأَوْكُوا أَسْقِيَتَكُمْ، وَأَطْفِئُوا سُرُجَكُمْ؛ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يُؤْذَنْ لَهُمْ بِالتَّسَوُّرِ عَلَيْكُمْ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: At night, close the doors, cover the vessels, tie the mouths of the water skins, and extinguish the lamps, because in this way the devils will not be permitted to climb over your walls.
