Musnad Ahmad Hadith 22254

It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) came out and a preacher was delivering a sermon. When the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) was seen, the preacher became silent. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Continue delivering your sermon. In my view, sitting and remembering Allah from the time of sunrise is better than freeing four slaves from among the descendants of Ismail (peace be upon him). Similarly, remembering Allah from the Asr prayer until sunset is, in my view, better than freeing four slaves from among the descendants of Ismail (peace be upon him).
