English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Ablution becomes an expiation for past sins, and prayer becomes a cause for rewards. Someone asked him, "Did you really hear this hadith from the Noble Prophet (ﷺ)?" He replied, "Yes! Not once or twice, nor three, four, or five times (but countless times I have heard it)."
