Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَلْبَسْ حَرِيرًا وَلَا ذَهَبًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not wear silk and gold.
