Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ أَحَدِ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ (١) قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: هَذَا أَبُو أُمَامَةَ الْحَارِثِيُّ، وَلَيْسَ هُوَ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ، ،
Translation
English translation
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission; however, it should be noted that this narration is from Abu Umamah Harithi Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), who is a different companion.
