حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مِنْ تَمَامِ عِيَادَةِ الْمَرِيضِ أَنْ يَضَعَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ عَلَى جَبْهَتِهِ، أَوْ يَدِهِ، فَيَسْأَلُهُ كَيْفَ هُوَ؟، ، وَتَمَامُ تَحِيَّاتِكُمْ بَيْنَكُمُ الْمُصَافَحَةُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The complete visiting of a sick person is that you place your hand on his forehead or hand and ask how he is. And the completion of the etiquette of your mutual meeting is through "handshaking."
