حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ السِّيلَحِينِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَةَ الشَّامِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمِقَةُ فِي السَّمَاءِ، فَإِذَا أَحَبَّ اللهُ عَبْدًا قَالَ: إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ فُلَانًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ ". قَالَ: " فَتَنْزِلُ لَهُ الْمِقَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Love (from Allah and fame) descends from the sky. Thus, when Allah Almighty loves a servant, He says (to Jibreel, peace be upon him): "I love such-and-such person, so you also love him." Then this love is placed in the hearts of the people of the earth.
