حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " لَتُسَوُّنَّ الصُّفُوفَ أَوْ لَتُطْمَسَنَّ وُجُوهُكُمْ، (٢) وَلَتُغْمِضُنَّ (٣) أَبْصَارَكُمْ أَوْ لَتُخْطَفَنَّ أَبْصَارُكُمْ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Keep your rows straight, otherwise your faces will be disfigured, and keep your gaze lowered, otherwise your eyesight will be taken away."
