حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا رُفِعَتِ الْمَائِدَةُ قَالَ: " الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ غَيْرَ مَكْفِيٍّ وَلَا مُوَدَّعٍ وَلَا مُسْتَغْنًى عَنْهُ رَبَّنَا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) finished eating or the dining cloth was removed, he would recite this supplication: "All praise is due to Allah, abundant, pure, and blessed praise; not insufficient, nor left, nor independent of Him, our Lord."
