Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Recite the Noble Qur’an, for it will intercede for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection. Recite the two radiant surahs, that is, Surah Al-Baqarah and Aal-e-Imran, for these two surahs will come on the Day of Resurrection in the form of canopies or in the form of two flocks of birds in ranks, and will defend their reciters. Then he said: Recite Surah Al-Baqarah, for acquiring it is a blessing and abandoning it is a cause of regret, and falsehood (magicians) cannot overcome it.
