حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ حُجْرٍ الْمَدَرِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "لَا تُرْقِبُوا، فَمَنْ أَرْقَبَ، فَسَبِيلُ (٣) الْمِيرَاثِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not make any property dependent on death (such that when someone dies, his ownership also ends). If anyone does so, then the rules of inheritance will apply to it.
