حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، قَالَ: كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، يُخْبِرُنِي عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ: "أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ احْتَجَمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ " قُلْتُ لِابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ: فِي مَسْجِدِ بَيْتِهِ؟ قَالَ: "لَا، فِي مَسْجِدِ الرَّسُولِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) had cupping done in the mosque. The narrator asked whether the mosque of his house was meant? So Ibn Lahi'ah informed that no, the original Masjid Nabawi is meant.
