Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Charity is due from every joint of each of you every morning. Every utterance of SubhanAllah is charity, every utterance of La ilaha illallah is charity, every utterance of Allahu Akbar is charity, every utterance of Alhamdulillah is charity, enjoining good is charity, forbidding evil is charity, and having intercourse with your wife is also charity. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Is there a reward for us in fulfilling our desire?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Tell me, if you were to fulfill it in a forbidden way, would there not be a sin upon you? I said, "Yes." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Then you count the sin, but do not count the good deed. And all of these are compensated by the two rak‘ahs that any one of you prays at the time of Duha.
