حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، يَقُولُ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ جَلَسَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ حَسْنَاءَ، أَوْ تَرْتَفِعَ الشَّمْسُ حَسْنَاءَ " (٣)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that after performing the Fajr prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to remain seated in his place until the sun had risen.
