Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: " لَمْ يَكُنْ يُؤَذَّنُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا يُقَامُ لَهُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was neither Adhan nor Iqamah before the Eid prayers in the presence of the Prophet (ﷺ).
