Original Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ: " أَنَّ بِلَالًا كَانَ يُؤَذِّنُ بِالظُّهْرِ إِذَا دَحَضَتِ الشَّمْسُ " (٣)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Bilal used to give the call to prayer (adhan) after the decline of the sun (zawal) and he did not show any negligence in this.
