حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَنْصُورٍ السَّلُولِيَّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، " أَنَّ رَجُلًا نَحَرَ نَفْسَهُ بِمِشْقَصٍ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٢)، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah, may Allah be pleased with him, that during the blessed era of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, a man cut open his chest with a knife and committed suicide. Upon hearing this, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not offer his funeral prayer.
