حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُسَيَّبَ بْنَ رَافِعٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " أَمَا يَخْشَى أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا رَفَعَ بَصَرَهُ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، أَنْ لَا يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْهِ بَصَرُهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Does not any one of you fear, while raising his head during prayer, that his sight may not return to him and may remain lifted upwards?
