حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُسَيَّبَ بْنَ رَافِعٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ، فَقَالَ: " مَا لِي أَرَاكُمْ عِزِينَ؟ " وَهُمْ قُعُودٌ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to his companions and said: "What is the matter that I see you divided into different groups?" At that time, the companions were sitting in this manner.
