Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، " أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ، فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), it was found out that a man had committed suicide. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (ﷺ) did not lead his funeral prayer.
