Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُخْبِرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ، قَالَ: " إِذَنْ لَا أُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (ﷺ), it was found out that a man had committed suicide. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I will not lead his funeral prayer."
