Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِيدَيْنِ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ، وَلَا مَرَّتَيْنِ، بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I offered the Eid prayers with the Prophet (ﷺ) not once or twice, but many times, and there was neither Adhan nor Iqamah in it.
