حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ وَبَرَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ، فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ، أَوْ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever misses a Friday (prayer) without excuse should give one dinar in charity; if he cannot find one dinar, then he should give half a dinar in charity.
