حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ، عَنْ سَوَادَةَ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَمْنَعَنَّكُمْ مِنْ سُحُورِكُمْ أَذَانُ بِلَالٍ، وَلَا الْفَجْرُ الْمُسْتَطِيلُ، وَلَكِنِ الْفَجْرُ الْمُسْتَطِيرُ فِي الْأُفُقِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) once said during a sermon that the Messenger said: Do not be deceived by Bilal’s call to prayer or this whiteness, until the true dawn appears. The true dawn is the light that spreads horizontally across the horizon.
