حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ سَأَلَهُ مَوْلَاهُ فَضْلَ مَالِهِ فَلَمْ يُعْطِهِ جُعِلَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: If a person's paternal cousin asks him for an extra share of his wealth and he does not give it to him, then on the Day of Resurrection he will be turned into a bald snake.
