حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيِّ قَالَ: جَاءَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ إِلَى امْرَأَتِهِ مِنْ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ: حَدِّثْنَا مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ حِيْنَ (٢) حَدِيثٍ , فَأَغْضَبَتْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " نَظَرْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ، وَنَظَرْتُ فِي النَّارِ فَرَأَيْتُ أَكْثَرَ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءَ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he went from the Prophet (ﷺ) to his wife. She said, "Tell us the hadith you heard from the Prophet (ﷺ)." He said, "It is not good for you." At this, she became upset. He said, "I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: I looked into Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women, and I looked into Paradise and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were the poor."
