حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الشُّعَيْثِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، وَعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَا: مَا خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُطْبَةً إِلَّا " أَمَرَنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ، وَنَهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) and Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would always encourage us to give charity in his addresses and would forbid us from mutilation.
